LIVE: NkrumahFest 2025 Kicks Off at Nkroful with Chateau Del Rei & AhantaWest.com

Nkroful, the proud birthplace of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, has come alive today as the celebrations of AnkrumahFest 2025 officially commence at Nkroful Agricultural Senior High School. The atmosphere is filled with excitement, culture, and national pride as the event is currently ongoing, drawing together people from all walks of life.

Through its partnership with AhantaWest.com, Chateau Del Rei has arrived on the event grounds to refresh the experience of all participants. Guests are already enjoying the lively ambience, where students, Members of Parliament, traditional authorities, clergy, and well-meaning Ghanaians have gathered to honor the life, legacy, and vision of Ghana’s first President, Dr. Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah.

The event has begun with Captain Smart of Onua FM serving as the Master of Ceremonies. With his trademark energy and passion, he has taken the audience through a brief yet powerful history of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, highlighting his relentless fight for independence and his role in laying the foundation for Ghana as the first free African nation south of the Sahara.

Proceedings were spiritually grounded with an opening prayer from Reverend Alex Donkor, who led the gathering in committing the celebrations and the future of Ghana into the hands of God. The prayer set a solemn but inspiring tone for the festival, reminding everyone of the need for unity, peace, and vision in continuing Nkrumah’s dream.

As the programme unfolds, performances, speeches, and tributes will be shared, showcasing the cultural heritage of the Western Region while reminding the nation of the principles that guided Dr. Nkrumah. The presence of Chateau Del Rei at the grounds marks a refreshing partnership in ensuring participants not only reflect on history but also celebrate with style.
